Hollywood Foundation Bursary Requirements
To qualify for Hollywood Foundation Bursary Programme, you must meet the following:
- Grade 12 learners must have at least 65% average
- Tertiary students need a minimum of 60% average
- You must be studying at a DHET-registered institution
Selected students might need to complete an interview or assessment. Final results will be released by December 2025.
Study Fields Supported
Funding applies only to selected and approved study programmes like:
- Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT, Software Engineering
- System and Network Administration, Information Systems
- Digital Marketing, Marketing & Communication
- Finance and Accounting
- Data Science
- Other fields (only if approved by the panel)
What the Bursary Covers
The bursary provides full or partial funding for the 2026 academic year. It includes support for:
- Registration and tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks and study materials
- Accommodation and living support (if approved)
Unapproved costs or extras will not be covered.
What You Need Before Applying

- Certified copy of your South African ID
- Proof of address like a utility bill or affidavit
- Letter of acceptance or proof of application
- Fee breakdown for 2026 (including registration, tuition, books, etc.)
- Latest academic results
- A short motivation in your own words (max 2000 characters)
